The bee hummingbird, zunzuncito or Helena hummingbird (Mellisuga helenae) is a species of hummingbird.

M. helenae is endemic to the entire Cuban archipelago, including the main island of Cuba and the Isle of Youth in the West Indies.[2] It is found mostly in Cuba’s mogote area¬†and uncommonly in Playa Larga near Zapata swamp,[4] but has been spotted in western Cuba. source

    I’m afraid that is a Calliope hummingbird. A bee hummer looks like a Costa’s but with the pink to orange head and chin feathers. There are many incorrect photos of Bee hummers but if you google “Calliope hummingbird), you will clearly see the bird pictured above.

    I agree with Bill, it’s not a bee hummingbird.
