Venezuelan Poodle Moth

The Venezuelan poodle moth is a possible new species of moth discovered in 2009 by Dr. Arthur Anker ofBishkek, Kyrgyzstan, in the Gran Sabana region of Venezuela. It bears similarities to the Diaphora mendica, the muslin moth, but most likely belongs to the lepidopteran genus Artace. source

      If you look on Snopes.com, what’s in the photo is a felt model of a different species. The Venezuelan poodle moth exists, but that isn’t one

    If you wish to be a credible source 1. don’t use wikipedia as your only reference and 2. don’t post photos of felted toys and call it a real creature.
